I stumbled across a friend of a friend’s blog and saw that her and some of her nearest and dearest had joined forces, very similar to the Planeteers and Captain Planet, and formed a cooking club, which just struck me as an absolutely brilliant idea! So I rounded up a few of my favourites ladies and be our power combined we are “J’dore Cuisiner”.
We get together every 6-8 weeks and spend a day cooking up a storm before the special someones in our life join us, bringing drinks – that’s their contribution, and we sit and enjoy the club’s cooking efforts. Always a fabulous night.
Different themes, seeming to get more and more challenging every time we meet, but its quality time in the kitchen and there seems to be something surprisingly relaxing about it all.

So what have you been cooking up?
I’ve actually been incredibly slack in posting about cooking club! We did a really nice Asian fusion menu with this great pho recipe and then this Turkish menu with this baklava panna cotta and recently it was Mexican day and we did pulled pork! Yum!
