I had a brilliant Australia Day this year – it was essentially a big eat fest, starting with an amazing cooked breakfast with my family in the morning. I think bacon tastes so much better done on the BBQ and the mushrooms were fairly delicious too, with a little fetta crumbled on top.
These may look like standard sausages, but they actually from a far away butcher in Moora – W Pursers & Sons. Amazing!!! Tremendously tasty every time.
This is an Aussie breakfast of champions! Fried egg on toast – bacon, mushrooms and a sausage – put me in good stead for the rest of the day. Wonderful way to spend the morning. Good company, good food.
