Starting December 1 through to the 24 there is a very special Christmas collaboration between the stunning riverside restaurant KU DE TA Perth and Cygnet Bay Pearls to raise funds to support the incredibly hard work of Save The Children.
Save The Children and their efforts to support youths in remote Australian communities is one that is close to the heart of Cygnet Bay Pearl Managing Director, James Brown, who is a third generation pearl farmer and marine biologist. At the recent preview event he spoke passionately about his desire to help the community where he grew up and do what he could to make a difference in these kid’s lives. It was entirely inspiring to hear him speak and clearly this collaboration is one that he is exceptionally excited about.
During December when you visit KU DE TA you’ll have a range of options available to support Save The Children, from special cocktails to three course meals, all with jewellery upgrade options available. On all occasions this will result in a donation to this worthy charity.
KU Dining will be serving a three course pearl inspired menu, with KDT guests having the option of taking home a ‘Kimberley Lily’ lariat pendant or a ‘Kimberley Lily’ ring.
The 3 course menu can be purchased for $150 per person, or with the lariat pendant for $1,500, with $600 going towards Save the Children. Guests can also order the menu with the lariat pendant and ring for $2,145 (max 2 guests) with $920 going towards Save The Children. For more information or to book please click here
A Pink Shinju cocktails will be served in West and The Deck for $20, with the option to also receive a half pearl ‘Mabe’ pendant. The cocktail with the pendant is $240, with $100 going directly to Save the Children. No booking required.
The menu is so inspired. Beautifully presented and expertly capturing the indulgent magic of pearls. If you haven’t eaten pearl meat before this menu is an impressive introduction. From the zesty pearl ceviche in your first course to the tender fried pearl meat in your mains, before the ultimate ode to this lustrous beauties with the completely stunning ‘world’s largest pearl’ dessert.
