I like to fine dine and quaff whenever the opportunity presents so when I heard about a dinner with The West’s wine expert, Ray Jordan, was too good to pass up! Was out at Indianas in Cottesloe, a beautiful spot and I headed there with the great crew from my work and together we enjoyed 5 courses with matched wines – so delicious!
Here’s the impressive menu…. so a few nibbles to start – 3 entrees, 1 mains and cheese
The wines were all West Australian, which automatically makes them awesome in my book.. am I biased much?
First course was a little challenging for me as I don’t eat fish but I was pleasantly surprised – I think the grapefruit and fennel salad was a tasty addition
This course was my favourite – the calamari – crispy and full of flavour!
The pesto with roast vegies was amazing! And it was lovely gnocchi – light and well cooked.
Too many close ups and I fogged up my camera 😉
Veal cutlet was the mains = a very decent serve and cooked to perfection!
