On Friday September 23rd a celebration of all things beer and beef kicks off here in Perth. That’s right folks, presented by Harvey Beef and back for a second year in its new location is the Beer & Beef Festival!
Set on the backdrop of Perth city skyline and the Swan River, the new home at Elizabeth Quay will make this event more easily accessible for beer lovers to enjoy their favourite cold one, sit back, relax and enjoy the goodness of beer with event organisers expecting over 15,000 people over the three days.

On both fronts the lineup is solid. So it’s actually pretty hard to know where to start with a list like that! I’d suggest arriving very hungry, because I think my plan would likely involve trying to eat pretty much one of everything. Ambitious I know and I’ll be honest, quite unlikely, but at least with the menu available ahead of time we can all plan our eating strategies.
And don’t forget to save room for dessert too because Pash Frozen Yogurt will be in attendance too! Yum! This years event is especially exciting for Pash as in addition to the Pash Van, they will also have a stall debuting their new product – Pash Pops, which are a selection of hand made frozen yogurt and gelato pops. There’s the naughty range, which offers indulgent gelato pops (like the cheesecake gelato pop – yes please!), and the nice range, which provides more health conscious options like frozen yogurt and sorbet pops. Something for everyone!
Along with all the amazing beef and beer on offer you can also watch the Top 8 BBQ Teams in WA battle it out in the King of the BBQ competition!
And if you feel like getting a little fancy, there are a couple of events across the weekend that definitely fit the bill. Of particular note….
The good people over at Harvey Beef & Mondo Butchers – Mondo Di Carne (World of Meat) have joined forces for a good cause. They will be hosting an all inclusive Long Table Lunch on Saturday 24th September at the WA Beer & Beef Festival 2016 at Elizabeth Quay!
