Our Guildford tour had ended and there really is plenty within walking distance of the Stirling Arms to enjoy. A staycation and walking tour, not too far from home, but feeling like a restful world away.
I think that was my favourite part really, an outstanding tour guide. It felt more like we were driving around with someone we’d known for years.

It had been another tasty visit to Oakover. Since their rebrand to Oakover Grounds they are really nailing a polished casual dining experience.
So there you go, we toured Maylands and it had been a great night out! Three fabulous venues, just a short walk between them, too easy!
Yeah…. that’s a good burger! The patty is cooked medium so there is a slight touch of pink and the flame grilling means there’s also a slight charred taste which marries well with all the other classic cheeseburger components.
