Ok my foodie friends you now have about a month to gear up for the return of the Good Food & Wine Show from July 11th to 13th at the Perth Exhibition and Convention Centre. Get excited!!!
Now in its ninth year and continuing to go from strength to strength. I actually went for the very first time last year (you can read about it here) and I really enjoyed it.
This year a new feature in Perth is the WA Artisan Lane, which showcases some superstar artisan producers from our own backyard! I love the opportunity to try some different local producers that I haven’t before. It’s a great introduction to what they are doing and you become more aware of their brand and will keep an eye out for your new favourites in future.
As with other years there is an impressive line up of super star chefs that will host different master classes at the LifeStyle FOOD Chef’s Table and also be on the main stage for the whole crowd to see. The chefs in attendance includes:
- Antonia Carluccio
- Matt Moran
- Matt Stone
- Miguel Maestre
- Adriano Zumbo
- Alistair McLeod
- George Calombaris
And along with the abundance of delicious exhibitors there are also plenty of other attractions t keep all manner of gourmand entertained. There are wine classes at the Riedel Wine Theatre, you can get hands on in the Laucke Creative Kitchen, explore The Grazing Garden (where the food trucks will be hiding), tackle the macaron with a Zumbarons Masterclass, or mama mia it’s pasta time with the Casa Barilla Cooking School and the list goes on!
There are 4 different sessions across the weekend:
- Friday 11th July 9:30am – 4:30pm (Day Session)
- Friday 11th July 5:30pm – 9:30pm (Evening Session)
- Saturday 12th July 10am – 6pm
