This was my first try at my new Women’s Weekly old fashioned favourites “sweets” cook book and decided to tackle buttermilk scones. They were a little flatter than I would have liked, but hey its a learning curve and with enough strawberry jam and cream they look taller 🙂
They were well received by my resident taste tester, GG, and he liked them so that always makes me happy and an afternoon of cooking is such a relaxing wonder for me. Perfect way to spend some time.
