NOTE: Please be advised that I believe that this venue is no longer operational
Many amongst us love to combine food an entertainment. For those people, a new feature on the Perth scene is Hello Hollywood. A revamp of the previous Don Camillio Italian Restaurant and Function Centre on the corner of Amelia Street and Wanneroo Road in Westminster now houses the Hello Hollywood Restaurant and Function Centre. A passionate theatrical pair has put together a dinner theatre venue in Perth suburbia. Complete with a few special appearances by Hollywood celebrity impersonators, I saw The Joker and Jack Sparrow wandering around on Friday and a fairly lavish fit out with glammed up table settings.
The acts vary from week to week and when I headed along they had a Beatles and a Rolling Stones cover band and Adam & Selena – Mystifiers, a pair of illusionists bringing the entertainment. Dinner is buffet style with a range of hot and cold dishes. There’s definitely plenty for everyone and a few even opted to wander up for seconds. There was a range of different fresh salads (including all the classics – potato, bean, pasta, etc), a seafood paella, chicken wings, soup, vegetarian quiches, a tasty beef curry served with rice and some very popular prawns served with a generous jug of cocktail sauce. A spread was also put on for dessert and I spied cheesecake, mudcake and a few other crowd favourites. While I wouldn’t say that buffet food is necessarily fine dining, it was tasty and plentiful.
Also drinks are very reasonably priced. Wine at $5 a glass is a bargain! You can either wander up to the bar to order or the friendly staff wander around and take your orders from the tables.
I would say that Hello Hollywood is perhaps targeted at a slightly more mature crowd and I definitely smiled when I saw all the old birds getting their groove on to the Beatles tunes.
Bookings are now open for Friday and Saturday evenings. Keep an eye on their Facebook Page for all the details.
Thank you to the Hello Hollywood team for asking me along, I wish you all the very best!

Thank you for the review and coming along to Hello Hollywood. We’ll be providing a very wide range of entertainment and themes in the future and look forward to people coming along and enjoying the atmosphere, good pricing and fun. We should mention it is also family friendly as we believe there is a lack of places for families to enjoy a night out.

Hi your buffet sounds really nice, but would like to know the price please as I have a group of about 16 who are looking for a reasonable priced meal & entertainment. Thanks 🙂 Kaye
Hi Kaye. Thank you for the enquiry. We have a variety of shows that are family-friendly and have broad popularity each Friday and Saturday night for $49 per person for both the dinner and show. Drinks are very well priced, there is a load of free parking and we’re sure you’ll have a great night. As an example, this weekend we have an Elvis Tribute show and magician appearing both nights. If you’d like to confirm, just book online at http://www.hellohollywood.com.au or call us on 1300 74 69 63. Thank you
